AMALFI CATHEDRAL

Devoted to St. Andrew, the Amalfi dome is located at the end of a steep stairs. The façade in polycrome majolicas of the 19th century, covers a Romanic structure rich in Bizantine and islamic designs while the interior, strongly re-handled in the 17th and 18th centuries is baroque. The Dome entrance is of the 18th century and it is the result of a remaking of the 1800 and it is called “chiostro del paradiso”, that is the “Paradise cloister”. This cloister is a nice construction in the Arabian style and is made of a peristyle with twin small coloumns that support sharp arches woven. There you can only celebrate Catholic weddings.


RAVELLO DOME

The Dome is devoted to St. Pantaleon and it was built during the 11th century; it has a basilica-like structure, divided into three aisles, each of them was supported by eight columns in granite and a transept in which three apses open. The entrance has three bronze doors melt of the 12th century; in its interior, that was reset in the Romanic style, to highlight the marble pulpit of 13th century and the ambo of the 12th century with mosaic decorations. There are celebrated both catholic and protestant weddings.


CHURCH IN POSITANO




The Church of Our Lady of Assumption is featured by the big majolica cupola; the interior has three aisles and preserves on the high altar a “Madonna with child” of 1200. Weddings according to the Catholic rhythm are celebrated in this church.


CHAPEL ON THE AMALFI COAST





Small and ancient this chapel is placed on a rocky cliff at about 2 km far from Positano, this small church offers an unforgettable visit. Only weddings according to the Catholic rhythm are celebrated in this church.
