Placed a few steps far from St.Mark’s square, the present church was started in 1500 as per the model by the architect Jacopo Sansovino, with squared plant and two chapels in each corner. The façade of the Tuscan type, was completed in 1897 with decoration in Istria marble. The interior preserves works of art of good artists of 1700. |
