The stone villa “La Paggeria" is immersed in a peaceful and quiet setting surrounded by the green of its garden with pine trees , cypresses and olive groves and is only 9 km from Florence and 4 km from Fiesole., 500metres from the parklands of the Medici Villa Demidoff, and 15 km from the Mugello. La Paggeria was restaurated in 1975 and is lived by its owners.
The ancient home has fully maintained all the characteristics of the country house, hence residing here one has the feeling of being in a very familiar and cosy environment.
The house is composed of five double bedrooms all with private bathroom, each with its own particular feature and furnished with utmost care and elegance. It’s furnished with both typical Tuscany and oriental forniture.
From each room and from the terrace (200 mq) one may delight in the enchanting views of Florence and Fiesole. The large living room (45mq) its wide windows overlooking the countryside with fireplace in stone, piano, and a big library section are all at the guests’ disposal.
During the hotter months one may choose to have breakfast served in the “allori garden“ or on the panoramic terrace.
From the Paggeria it is easy to reach the centre of both Florence and Fiesole thanks to the city bus lines only 100 mt from the house.
In the summer evenings it’s quite enjoyable to dine outside with a typical Tuscan menu served with a good bottle of Chianti wine and to watch the lovely view of the sun setting on the city of Florence.
